New Video – Winter Western Roundup

Clydesdale running in the snow

The Winter Western Horse Roundup is one of the cool options that you have when you join my Winter Wildlife Workshop. I confess eons ago when I was just getting started a chance to do one of these horse sessions came along and to say I was uninterested would be a gigantic understatement. However, once there I was hooked. It’s quite an adrenaline rush having 20 horses running through the snow directly at you and your camera! Hold your ground they always turn; well so far at least!

I have always had a hard time describing these events and so I put together this promo video to help me explain.

Wow they always turn? I guess if I was a horse, I wouldn’t want to run into someone. They’re smart. ? I just don’t know if I could just stand there, it must be an amazing site!

It is indeed! You can feel the ground tremble when they run past. Sometimes I take a break from the photography and just watch and listen as they gallop around the pasture. Truly an amazing sight!
